1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Scale Art Interiors website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not use this website or our services.

2. Website Use

The information on this website is provided for general guidance. You may use the website only for lawful purposes and must not attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, copy protected material or use its content in a misleading manner.

We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but images, descriptions, specifications, prices and availability may change without notice.

3. Interior Design Services

The exact scope of work will be defined in the quotation, proposal, bill of quantities, drawings or agreement accepted by the client. Services may include consultation, space planning, design development, 3D visualisation, material selection, custom furniture, procurement, project coordination and execution.

Website images and renderings are illustrative. Colours, textures, grain, lighting and proportions may appear different in actual materials or completed spaces.

4. Quotations, Pricing & Payments

• Quotations remain valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
• Prices are based on the agreed scope, measurements, specifications and material selections and may change if these change.
• Applicable taxes, statutory charges, delivery, storage or third-party fees will be charged as stated in the quotation.
• Work begins after the required approval, advance payment and site readiness conditions are met.
• Payments must follow the agreed milestone schedule. Delayed payment may result in suspension of work and revision of the completion schedule.
• Ownership of supplied goods remains with Scale Art Interiors until all related amounts are paid in full, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Design Approval & Changes

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving drawings, specifications, samples, finishes, quantities and budgets before execution or ordering. Changes requested after approval may require a revised quotation and additional time.

No variation will be treated as included unless it is confirmed in writing. Site instructions that affect cost or time may be documented as a variation.

6. Timelines & Site Conditions

Project schedules are estimates based on timely approvals, payments, material availability, site access and the performance of third parties. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply interruptions, transport delays, natural events, government restrictions, labour disruption or undisclosed site conditions.

Any structural, electrical, plumbing, moisture, pest or other concealed issue discovered at the site may require separate remedial work, cost and time.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client must provide accurate information, lawful site access, timely decisions and approvals, agreed utilities and a safe working environment. The client must also disclose relevant building rules, permissions, structural limitations and work by other contractors.

Unless specifically included in our scope, the client is responsible for statutory, society, landlord and local authority permissions.

8. Materials, Products & Warranties

Natural materials and manufactured batches may vary in shade, pattern, grain or texture. Reasonable variations are not defects. If a specified item becomes unavailable, we may recommend a comparable substitute for client approval.

Manufacturer warranties apply according to their own conditions. Our workmanship obligations, defect reporting period and exclusions will be those stated in the signed project documents. Damage caused by misuse, normal wear, moisture, pests, structural movement, unauthorised alteration or inadequate maintenance is excluded unless required otherwise by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, photographs, drawings, concepts, layouts, renderings and design documents created by Scale Art Interiors remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients receive the right to use final approved project documents only for the contracted project after full payment.

Designs may not be reproduced, altered, shared for execution by others or used for another property without written permission.

10. Cancellation & Suspension

Cancellation, refund and suspension conditions will follow the signed quotation or agreement. Amounts covering completed design work, ordered or customised materials, mobilisation, third-party commitments and other non-recoverable costs are not refundable. Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains unresolved after reasonable written notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scale Art Interiors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of use, or damage resulting from third-party work, client-supplied materials, inaccurate client information or use of this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any project-specific liability cap will be stated in the signed agreement.

12. Privacy & Communications

Information submitted through the website or during a project may be used to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver services and meet legal or administrative requirements. By providing contact details, you agree that we may contact you regarding your enquiry or project. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve any disagreement through good-faith discussion. Subject to any dispute-resolution clause in the signed project agreement, courts with jurisdiction in Kerala will have jurisdiction.
